Privacy policy
Private preparation notice. The Brevo signup form has been tested, but the newsletter is not publicly launched. Tracking settings, retention procedures and provider transfer terms still require verification before this becomes the public privacy policy.
Controller and contact

Signup and consent
The hosted Brevo form collects your email and your choice to receive the free daily SIGNAL newsletter. Both are needed to subscribe; leaving the form does not subscribe you. A confirmation link verifies the request before the address joins the SIGNAL — Gratuit list. Consent is the basis for editorial email delivery. Confirmation, delivery, error and withdrawal records help manage subscriptions and prevent unwanted sending. No payment or SMS subscription is part of this form.
Providers and other services
Quentin manages the SIGNAL list through Brevo, which hosts the form and processes email delivery. Hostinger provides the contact mailbox: emails you send there are used to answer your request, based on the legitimate interest in handling correspondence. The private website uses Sites and Cloudflare; it has no connected subscriber database or checkout. Existing contacts in the wider Brevo account are not automatically SIGNAL subscribers. The provider agreements, subprocessors and safeguards for access outside the EEA must be documented before public launch; European storage alone does not establish that no transfers occur.
Tracking and security records
The SIGNAL website adds no advertising cookies, analytics service or social embeds. The separate Brevo form and emails are different. Account settings seen on 17 September 2026 show anonymous email tracking enabled, so opens and clicks are counted without being linked to an individual contact, and per-contact pixel consent enabled, with contacts of unknown consent not tracked. Counting anonymously is not the absence of tracking: the open pixel and link rewriting remain in place. Brevo image-URL masking is off. Form protection services and technical log retention are still unverified. Consent confirmation and unsubscribe links must keep working.
Retention before launch
The verified list currently contains test subscriptions. No automatic deletion schedule has been verified. Before public collection, SIGNAL must adopt and implement separate periods for unconfirmed requests, active subscriptions, consent evidence, suppression records, correspondence and provider logs. Removing someone from a list does not necessarily delete their Brevo contact. Withdrawal must stop editorial sending without deleting the minimal record needed to prevent accidental re-subscription. A retention proposal is kept in the private launch documentation, not presented here as an active deletion process.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Each editorial email must provide an unsubscribe link; you may also write to contact@signaltech.site. Depending on the processing, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can complain to the CNIL. Requests normally receive a response within one month; a justified extension must be explained within that month. Do not send identity documents unless a proportionate check is needed. No automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects is implemented by SIGNAL.
